WICKED WOODS IS OPENING SOON!
Friday October 4th: Wicked Woods (Outdoor Haunt) opens for season.
Thursday October 31st: Last night for the Wicked Woods Season.
Hours of operation are Fridays and Saturdays from 7-11 PM!
Wintery Woods
Friday November 29th: Wintery Woods (Christmas Light Drive Through) opens for season.
Tuesday December 31st: Last night for the Wintery Woods season.
Wicked Woods Haunt
We have been hard at work preparing for the 2024 haunt season here at Wicked Woods.
We will have 11 different sections to the haunted trail, as well as a children’s Halloween area. We also have a community area to sit and relax, watch a movie, listen to some haunting tunes, and grab something to drink or nibble on while just enjoying the atmosphere or waiting on someone to complete their event.
We are going to try to have a hayride as well if we can get things completed in time to add it in to the entertainment choices.
We will be open from 7 PM - 11 PM every Friday and Saturday in October. The cost is $10 per person and includes everything we have to offer (except concession). Choose to participate in as much or little as you want.
Two of the characters shown here are stock photos of just a couple of the animatronic that will be in this year’s haunt! We have over 30 animatronic that we hope to display along with volunteer characters, and tons of spooky decorations to create a haunt worthy atmosphere. We also have inflatables and less creepy decorations for the children’s section of the haunt. There will be games and photo opportunities in the children’s area as well!
We are currently seeking about 20 volunteers to help us during the weekends with our haunt. We have spots for characters who want to be highly interactive with our guests, to positions that are more in line with guest services.

We do need reliability with our characters. Our haunt depends on our characters showing up to spook our guests. As volunteers, you will get a Wicked Woods shirt, and free drinks during the season. At the end of the season, we will give our volunteers a party. We wish we could offer more, but as this is our first season, we have a long way to go before we can get ahead enough to do this. We appreciate anyone who does offer their time and talent towards this season. It’s really a fun experience!

As a sponsor, we will put your business name on the fencing that everyone drives past to get to parking during our haunt. It will remain there for the entire haunt season of October. We will also list your business name on our website as an official sponsor! Thank you so much!
We are currently looking for:
Volunteers to be characters for the Wicked Woods Haunt.
We need approximately 20 characters.

We also currently need new batteries, mostly D, AA and AAA.
T-Posts, spray paint, latex paints and any decorations someone might want to part ways with. They will be given a good home!
A Little About Us:
We are a small family farm with 2 houses, and a few outbuildings on 5 acres of land off Texanna Road. We have a few chickens and a small herd of fainting goats.
We love the holidays ! We recently joined forces with our good friends Isaac Adams and Bobbie Randolph. We bought their Haunted House that has been held each year in Eufaula, Oklahoma and combined it with our decorations to create a Haunted Trail called Wicked Woods!
We were given a donation of lighted wire frame decor last year from the Friends of Eufaula State Park. We plan on restoring those and adding them to our own to create a Christmas lighted drive through called Wintery Woods! We hope to get a few of the wire frames up this year but we have been so busy creating a haunted trail, that we haven’t much extra time to put towards restoring the wire frames. What we can’t get up this year will definitely be added to the 2025 Season!
Looking forward for the future at Rustic Woods, we hope to open the property up for some primitive tent or dry camping for RV’s or campers in the Spring of 2025. From there we would like to add in some unique glamping sites for folks to reserve.
We have a nice outdoor common area that we would like to see perhaps a small coffee or tea shop for folks to sit on a bench, drink a beverage and maybe make some new friends or just people watch. We would love to be able to have local musicians come and play some music for the community and possibly host small dances for different age groups to be involved in. Having a few food trucks on occasion wouldn’t hurt matters in our eyes! We are always about a good meal, high spirits, and great company!
We feel that in our community, support of others is a necessity and a blessing. Having more opportunity to visit holiday themed attractions in the area just makes the season more fun for everyone! We are grateful beyond words for the Friends of Eufaula State Park for their wire frame Christmas donations! We also know there are a lot of options for camping in the area. We hope that we can offer a safe and unique environment to stay that is fun for everyone!
